MDF is a medium-hard board, it is a homogeneous fiber board formed by thermomechanically drying the fibers obtained from wood or other cellulosic raw materials to a certain degree of humidity and then pressing them under temperature and pressure with a glue with a character of about 9-11% thermosetting.
MDF means literally medium density fiberboard and consists of the initials of the words Medium Density Fiberboard.
It can be successfully used in the production of parts such as MDF table tops, door panels, bevelled edges or drawers with profile surfaces.
The surfaces of MDF boards can be covered with all kinds of laminate, resin impregnated paper, foil and wood coating.
